50s / 60s Floral Silk Dress
Vintage silk dress from the 50s or early 60s. This beautiful dress is made of a lovely lightweight silk with a bold, slightly modish, floral print. The bodice has a jewel neckline with piping, side bust darts, vertical tucks on the front and back, and a nipped waist with piping. The dress has long sleeves which open at the wrist with three covered buttons. The skirt is gathered at the sides and back. With the exception of the sleeves, the dress is fully lined. There is a full metal zipper down the back. A wonderful dress in a very classic style. There are a few condition issues noted below.

Condition: Very good. There is some light fading on one shoulder and arm where the purple flowers look more gray than purple (visible in the side photo above). There is also a stain on the interior lining that is not visible. Normal striations to the silk, but some more prominent than others. This is a delicate dress, please allow plenty of wiggle room.
