40s WWII Off Duty Nurses Uniform
Vintage WWII Off Duty Nurse UniformAmazing WWII era military dress. I am not proficient in military history but from my research I learned these shirtwaist dresses were worn by off duty nurses. This is an exceptional dress for its age and historical significance.

*Long sleeves with ribbon at wrist and button holes for cuff links (cuff links missing)
*Shoulder epaulettes with buttons
*Original fabric belt, button missing
*Brass buttons with American eagle design
*Shoulder patch / not sure what it represents or if its original to the 40s
*Back yoke / gathered back

Size: Fits like a modern XS to S (estimate a modern 2)

Condition: Fade under the arms and a few light spots in the gathering below the yoke on back. Metal zipper is tacky, and belt is missing its button. The dress is actually in great condition with no holes or stains. The buttons are shiny and bright but I can't confirm they are original to the dress.
