40s / 50s Vintage Dress
Flattering fit and flare dress in a heavy black fabric with small red flowers. There are no tags on this dress and it is possibly handmade with amazing construction I'm not sure I can detail properly but will try. The dress is fitted thru the bodice with two tucks that run from the corners of the square neckline to below the waist. There are two smaller tucks on each side of the larger ones and they appear to end at the waist. The bust is gathered. The skirt is full with three panels in the front and back, the center panel in the back is pleated. The dress has half sleeves that are tucked at the end. Black velvet trims the neckline and sleeves. There is a side metal zipper, a small tie in the back, and an attached red crinoline. The crinoline is tacked at the waist and could easily be removed.Item: Vintage 40s / 50s Dress
